Everyone of these pictures and every story told within this blog, are straight from my heart. I am in an exciting time in my life where I finally see that there are no coincidences....and I don't believe that it is by chance that you are reading this. This new chapter of my blog is called Living Life Beyond.  Beyond can have many different meanings. There is just something about that person that I photographing, that inspires me. After the story unfolds, it is evident to me of how they are living beyond. They inspire me...YOU inspire me!

Weekend Wonder

What is it about photobooth pictures that make my heart burst with joy. If you look at any one picture within the mess, they are technically horrible pics. But together in that fine strip of fun, they are the best pictures ever taken. There is something so real about them. Everytime I go in one I panic. There is never enough time to pose, to come up with something creative or to even look good. But I LOVE every photobooth picture ever taken because of the memories they flawlessly display ! We got to spend an incredible two days with my little brother’s family after we begged them to extend their stay in Seattle and drive down to our neck of the woods. I am so overjoyed that they did:) We got to have a lot of really great conversations. I got to share my space with them and take in every special moment that crossed my path. Like my nephew falling in love with Uncle Jake. Jimmy (my bro) falling in love with my dog:) The 5 older kids playing like they are the best-est friends on the whole planet (yay for cousins). And the most precious moment…when my dear friend (and sister-in-law) told me “don’t take this the wrong way Kathy, but you seem A LOT calmer. You don’t seem so uptight and I can see a peace within you.” I must have been glowing at that point because I knew exactly what she was referring too. I can feel the calmness inside. I have moments when I have to go looking for it, but overall, there has been a HUGE shift and I am so relieved! Thank you Jim and Michelle for filling up our Love Bucket and for sharing your family with us. Your kids are such a blessing and we have shed a few tears about them being gone. I will think of you everytime that I am shedding tear over So You Think You Can Dance:) We love you!IMG_9302
